Dania Gold

Head of School

After receiving her BFA in Art Education from the University of Arizona (Summa Cum Laude) and Master’s in Educational Leadership at Arizona State University (Summa Cum Laude), Dania Gold joined BASIS Curriculum Schools.

Ms. Gold started her career with BASIS back in 2011 when she helped open and establish BASIS Chandler. In addition to implementing and creating the 5-12 art curriculum as the Head of the Art Department, Dania Gold also had the opportunity to mentor new teachers. After working at BASIS Chandler for four years, she transferred to BASIS Scottsdale Primary to open and establish the K-4 program. Ms. Gold served as the Director of Student Affairs and the Director of Academic Programs.

While working at BASIS Scottsdale Primary, Ms. Gold fell in love with the BASIS primary model. She is passionate about the primary curriculum because it focuses on instilling fundamental skills that prepare students for high academic expectations in the 5-12 program. Students establish the study skills, organizational skills, social skills, critical thinking skills, and academic mindset they need to succeed throughout their entire educational careers. In 2016, Ms. Gold transferred to open and establish BASIS Chandler Primary North Campus as the Head of School.

Ms. Gold is thrilled to have the opportunity to open and establish BASIS Scottsdale Primary-West for the 2018-2019 school year.

Ms. Gold considers it an honor to be able to provide students and families with the world-class education through BASIS Curriculum Schools. She is looking forward to instilling a true love of learning in each and every one of her students.
