BASIS Phoenix Primary opened in 2018 and serves students in kindergarten through grade 5. Our rigorous and accelerated curriculum engages students in hands-on, dynamic lessons across a well-balanced array of courses in literacy, humanities, math, science, engineering, Mandarin, P.E, visual arts, drama, and music. We recognize the importance of unstructured play and collaboration in helping students learn to advocate for themselves and their ideas in compassionate ways. Students have plenty of opportunity for independent practice with concepts to ensure comprehension, or to meet with their teachers for further support. Resiliency is taught through example and by helping students learn from their mistakes.
BASIS Phoenix Primary embraces a diverse population of students and promotes respect for others, fostering individual social and emotional growth. Our strong school community cultivates positive, capable students who are prepared to contribute to the greater world outside our doors.
