Stephanie Terrell

Head of School

Stephanie Terrell, our Head of School at BASIS Chandler Primary North, joined BASIS Charter Schools in 2011. She helped BASIS Chandler earn national recognition as one of the best public high schools in the nation. Mrs. Terrell went on to become the Head of School at BASIS Phoenix before transitioning to her current role as Head of School at BASIS Chandler Primary North.

An Arizona native, Mrs. Terrell earned her BS in Biology from Arizona State University and, prior to joining BASIS Charter Schools, spent over ten years teaching computer applications, all primary school subjects, and middle/high school math. She believes that leadership starts with being a servant—then you add hard work and finish with perseverance. “Our teachers are passionate and take great pride in seeing students succeed both in and out of the classroom,” says Mrs. Terrell.

As BASIS Chandler Primary North Head of School, Mrs. Terrell partners with students, parents, and other BASIS Charter School educators to help children prepare for middle school and beyond. She is looking forward to an exciting year at BASIS Chandler Primary North. We encourage you to visit our school to see how BASIS Chandler Primary North can benefit your child.
