BASIS Ahwatukee is a charter school serving grades 4–12. Since opening in 2013, the Ahwatukee campus has enjoyed many successes including millions of dollars earned in merit-based scholarships, a lively performing arts program, and one of the largest Speech and Debate teams in the BASIS Charter School network.

School Highlights

  • Our 11 2017 seniors earned 51 acceptances to 27 unique colleges and universities.
  • Our High School Vex Robotics team qualified for the state competition and won the VEX Energy Award in the regionals.
  • Our History Bee students are going to the national competition.
  • A student received first place in the “Best of Phoenix Chess Championship.”
  • A grade 8 student was the principal clarinetist at the Arizona All State Band Festival and a grade 11 student was selected for All-State Orchestra.
  • A grade 5 student qualified to compete in the state level competition of the National Geographic Bee.
  • A student scored in the top five percent in the nation on the 2016 AMC 8.
