Welcome to BASIS Scottsdale Primary!

BASIS Scottsdale Primary maintains a strong school community and culture that is spirited, welcoming, and supportive. Every day, students are engaged in hands-on, collaborative lessons that continually connect the different subjects to each other. At BASIS Scottsdale Primary, we also focus on social and emotional learning, in addition to academics. The social and emotional learning program is continued in and outside of the classroom.

BASIS Scottsdale Primary had an exciting opportunity to partner with Groovebotics to pilot a study that engaged our grade 3 students in STEM fields through creative avenues. The humanities, math, and fine arts departments worked together to help students write and produce films with robots that they programmed using iPads. We plan to add more programs in the future that allow for multi-department collaboration.
