Welcome to
BASIS Chandler!

BASIS Chandler began the 2017–18 school year with its largest student and faculty population in its seven year history, with an expectation to continue its high level of excellence from years past. BASIS Chandler was named the #7 best high school and the #5 charter school in the nation in the U.S. News & World Report America’s Best High Schools ranking. Additionally, last school year saw continued academic success, specifically with the Academic Decathlon team (first place national competition) and the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (winner – senior division school).

Outside of academics, BASIS Chandler saw the addition of four Canyon Athletic Association sport teams, bringing the total number of teams offered for the year to 15. The teams were led in success by the varsity boys swim team, who won the CAA State Championship for the third year in a row, followed by the state runner-up girls team. The school chess team also brought home an AIA State Championship. BASIS Chandler looks forward to a 2017–18 school year of continued successes and achievements.
